Install Your Add-on, New or Replacement Hardware

• Install your add-on system memory
Install your add-on system memory. Configure BIOS and OS as needed.


• Install your (non-boot) hard drive
Install your new slave hard drive. Format and configure as needed.


• Install your CD-ROM or DVD drive
Install your new optical drive. Install device driver.


• Install your video adapter
Install your new video adapter. Install device driver.


• Install your hard disk controller
Install your new hard disk controller. Disable old controller if needed. Install device driver.


• Install your sound adapter
Install your new sound adapter. Disable old embedded controller or remove plug-in card if needed. Install device driver.


• Install your modem
Install your new modem. Disable old embedded controller or remove plug-in card if needed. Install device driver.


• Install your Ethernet adapter
Install your new Ethernet adapter. Disable old controller or remove plug-in card if needed. Install device driver.


• Install your video display
Install your new video display. Configure OS as needed.


• Install your Keyboard/Mouse/Speakers
Install your new peripherals. Install mouse device driver.


• Install your printer
Install your new printer. Install device driver.


• Install your print server
Install your new print server on your LAN. Install your printer on the print server. Install device driver.


• Install your scanner
Install your new scanner. Install device driver.


• Install your all-in-one(print/copy/fax/scan)
Install your new all-in-one printer. Install device driver.


• Install your Firewire or USB adapter
Install your new Firewire or USB adapter in your motherboard. Install device driver.


• Install your video capture adapter
Install your new video capture adapter. Install device driver.


• Install your Uninterruptable Power Supply
Install your new UPS. Install device driver if applicable.


• Install your laptop battery
Install your new laptop battery. Disposal of old battery not included.


• Install your new or upgrade application software
Install and configure up to three application programs.


• Install your new or upgrade operating system
Backup your specified data files, wipe hard drive, clean install your new or upgrade operating system. Perform basic custom configuration. Perform basic Internet access configuration.


• Install your new motherboard/processor and operating system
Backup your specified data files, wipe hard drive. Install your new motherboard/processor. Clean install your new or upgrade operating system. Perform basic custom configuration. Perform basic Internet access configuration.

These hands-on services require a visit to your premises. For operating system installation and motherboard installation, your system will be picked-up, serviced, and returned ready to run.
